About me
Hi there, I’m Kae. It’s nice to meet you! I’ve been on a spiritual wellness path and have been practicing energy work since 2017. I have been trained in Reiki, Re Hu TekTM (an Egyptian healing modality), and Shamanic energy healing modalities. My energy work focuses on chakra tuning, bodyscan techniques, and clearing of traumas stored in the physical and energy bodies. I also work with tea, tarot, and sound as tools for healing and release.
My healing mission is not just about relaxation, though it can provide that if that’s what you seek, but my energy work tends to go deeper than that—you may cry, laugh, sigh, cough—releasing trauma that has been stored in the body sometimes for years…for me the true work is in balancing the dark with the light, removing stagnant energy that no longer serves, and adding light, protection, and love. I am a trauma-informed healer, though please note that I am neither a therapist or a medical practitioner.
Inclusivity is a core element of my healing work—regardless of gender, sexuality, race, disability, neurotype, etc.—you are welcome here. I am queer, neurodivergent, mixed-race, and have experience with disability; I know what it means to be “other.” I will always do my best to respect your boundaries, your pronouns, aim to use inclusive language, and to continue to learn when I err.
As a yogi for 18+ years, my goal as a yoga teacher is to create a welcoming, inclusive, and playful space where students of all levels feel empowered to connect with their bodies, breath, and higher consciousness. I completed my 200-hour YTT in 2024 through the Joy of Yoga program at Breathe Together yoga studio, and my 300-hour training is to be completed at Patanjali Yoga Foundation in Rishikesh, India in December 2026. I aim to make yoga accessible to everyone, honoring individual needs and abilities through mindful guidance and compassionate support, and to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, fostering balance and harmony in each student’s practice. As an instructor, I specialize in Slow Flow, Hatha, meditation, and yogic philosophy.
The business name, Isis Healing Arts, is named for Isis, my late cat, who was named for the Egyptian goddess of magic and healing.
